MOONDROP - Chu Wired IEM

Moondrop Chu, the latest entry-level IEM, comes with a unique 10mm nano crystal coated driver. This 10mm driver features a titanium-coated diaphragm, which provides lush and detailed audio reproduction. This internal audio architecture is adopted from Moondrop Aria’s decentralized dynamic structure. A high-performance 10mm composite cavity is combined with a high-frequency phased waveguide leveraging the N52 Neodymium magnet internal magnetic circuit and 0.035 ultra-thin CCAW sound coil to deliver full dynamic range and rich details with high energy conversion efficiency.

The Acoustic coupling cavity needs to be controlled carefully to match the frequency response as closely as possible to the VDSF target response. Through volume and dimension calculation, FEA finite element simulation and 3D Printing experiment verification. An acoustic coupling cavity has been created that can accurately reproduce the ideal frequency response.

Moondrop VDSF target response is a parametric target and the sound quality is controlled by composite elements, restoring the sound to mastering levels and creating an open soundstage that is diffusion-tuned space.

The metal outer cavity is manufactured from alloy materials using melting and injection molding technology, thus creating a stable, precise and esthetically pleasing cavity that is both durable and reliable.

Built-in microphone and multifunctional button allow users to make phone calls without taking the earphones off. The multifunctional button can control all music play functions, making it very convenient to use. Three buttons control the microphone, so it's easy to pause/play/previous song/next song/volume adjustments, etc.

Chu Comes standard with the popular spring Tips eartips. Spring Tips suppress undesirable resonance through a special diffusion structure, reducing linear distortion at high frequencies caused by nozzle resonance, and improving natural high-frequency timbre. At the Same time, the carefully selected material of the spring tips cap can comfortably fit the ear canal without stickiness, and the special radial double support structure can prevent bass loss.
